Dear spring

The leaves are all gone

And I am standing here

Bare naked, waiting for your arrival.

For you to come, touch me by the cold

In the due filled mist of foggy morning

To make me warm and clothed again

In the spring and summer.

Gifting me with green leaves

And impregnating my leaves less arms

With fruits that I’ve hidden inside of me,

For oh so long.

So I’m standing here

With all my follies and pride gone

With all of it shedded down into the earth

And looking into the sky, waiting for your arrival dear spring.
